So we're going to be borrowing brilliance from Dr. Sondra Dalton Smith, the seven types of rest that every person needs. It's describing rest as like a dynamic process. We all need different kinds of rest at different moments so that it doesn't stay the same, but also you can design it in a way that kind of works for you. If you had this conversation, like these are the seven different types of rest, which ones do you recognise are important to you?

I think not only do you learn more about each other, I think it gets rid of the judgment because you know if you said oh I need physical rest I need to go for a walk it's really important to me then I would just say oh that's because that type of rest is what Sarah needs right now so that's an insight into a different rest issue that we both have. Hi it's Helen from the Squiggly Careers pod. And before you listen to today's episode, I wanted to let you know about some news that Sarah and I are very excited about, and that is that our new book, Learn Like a Lobster, is now ready to pre-order. We think that learning is so important to people succeeding in their squiggly career, but we recognize that it is not easy to do.

And so we wanted to inspire people to look differently at learning and we think that lobsters are the role model that we have been missing. We really, really appreciate it when people pre-order our book. It means that our book gets momentum and also you get it first. But we know it's a while before that book arrives and so anyone who pre-orders, we have got a special surprise. The surprise is the Learn Like a Lobster library, and you will become a member of the library when you pre-order the book.

That is the first couple of minutes. The rest is $1.
