podcast to text · from a link

Podcast to text, from a link. No file to upload.

Most transcript tools want the audio file. You probably have a link, or just the episode's name. Paste either below: we find the episode, fetch its audio from the show's own feed and turn it into text with timestamps, in about two minutes.

Spotify · Apple Podcasts · YouTube · Overcast · RSS feeds · or just the title

What you can paste

  • A link from a podcast app: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castbox, or the show's website.
  • A YouTube link to a podcast episode.
  • An RSS feed, to pick from all of a show's episodes.
  • Words: the episode title, a guest's name, or the show.

Why no upload

Upload tools are built for your own recordings. For someone else's podcast they mean finding the MP3, downloading an hour or more of audio, uploading it again and waiting. Every podcast already publishes its audio in a public feed, so we start there, and an episode someone else asked for before you is ready the moment you find it.

If the recording is your own and not published anywhere, an upload tool is the right choice. How the options compare.
